About the Exhibition
Hill-Stead Museum is thrilled to announce its first Annual Juried Members Exhibition, which is intended to connect present day artists with the Museum’s natural beauty and collection masterworks. Calling all artists who are inspired by nature and light to submit their piece(s) to this juried show. Artists may work from the naturescape of their choice. They are warmly welcome to draw inspiration and/or work on site at Hill-Stead. Its 152 acres of rounds include gardens, meadows, trails, sweeping vistas and pastures filled with sheep and freshly-made haystacks.

New England Quilt Museum: In Praise of Silk
Travel to see “The World’s Favorite Fabric in Quilts and Clothing” at the New England Quilt Museum in Massachusetts from May to August. You will see a couple of my pieces, Alien Nation and Sanctuary, on display.

The State of Craft: Oklahoma Members
Experience some of Oklahoma's premier artists at 108 Contemporary's Oklahoma Member's Show from December 1 to January 21, 2018. 108 Contemporary is located in Tulsa in the Brady Arts District. A Common Thread
Look out for one of my newer pieces, Sanctuary, to be displayed at the 2018 A Common Thread Exhibition in Minneapolis, MN. The Textile Center: a national center for fiber art will showcase member's artwork during the annual, non-juried exhibition this upcoming Winter. Sanctuary is a hand quilted whole cloth landscape using surface designed fabrics, digital silk prints, and hand embroidery.

LINE DUFOUR: FATE DESTINY AND SELF DETERMINATION (HALLWAY)
Line Dufour's project Fate Destiny and Self Determination is a collaborative tapestry project based in weaving and other fiber art methods propelled by social media. The project is a large web of small weavings that people all over the world have donated. Through her Facebook page, she has received submissions from 230 people from 22 countries, a true collaborative effort. Visitors will have the opportunity to make a small tapestry and contribute a small shape to this project.

Louisville Art Walk and Free Form Knitting and Crochet Workshop

I will be the visiting artist and I will be demonstrating Freeform Knitting and Crochet. I will have different pieces of art available for purchase including batik, mixed-media, freeform knitting and crochet, and hand dyed fabric. See you there
